Moscow Poly Held Webinar for International Students about Russian Culture and History
The deputy head of the Directorate for International Integration and Work with Foreign Students (WFS) Alina Andrukh held a webinar for the international students fr om non-CIS countries about Russian culture and history.
At the event, the participants learned about crucial historical facts in relation to Russian, prominent historical figures and their discoveries that made significant impact on science development, discussed the cultural and ethnic diversity of the country, and found out about the opportunities that Russian education, and in particular Moscow Poly, gives.
In conclusion of the webinar, the audience participated in a quiz wh ere they had answer the following questions:
- What century was Rus` founded?
- Who founded the first Russian university?
- How many faculties and institutes are there in Moscow Poly?
- What`s the name of the author whose poems were translated into 210 languages.
10 best participants will get classes from Moscow Poly preparatory department teachers in Russian and Russian culture.
43 participants from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan and other countries joined in for the webinar. As a result, many of them expressed their desire to come study to Russia and study at Moscow Poly.
