Moscow Poly Employee Became Expert at “New Chanllenges – Training Staff for Digital Economy
On October 30-31, Russian national forum called “New Chanllenges – Training Staff for Digital Economy” took place in Kazan on the premises of Bashir Rameec IT park. The head of Moscow Poly IT faculty AI lab Andrei Philippovich took part as a speaker in the plenary session and panel discussion – IT transformation: Career and Educational Trajectories.
Around 1,000 people from 50 Russian regions participated in the event. They had an opportunity to visit the session and four sections: “Building Digital Competencies in IT”, TatGameJam games development tournament, panel discussion on the subject of IT Transformation: Career and Educational Trajectories, and an extended session of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association “New Approaches to Training Staff for Russian Economy”.
Moscow Poly employee, the head of the Lab for Artificial Intelligence under the Faculty of Information Technologies Andrei Philippovich delivered a speech during the first plenary session devoted to “Prospects of Training AI Specialists” and participated in the panel discussion – “IT Transformation: Career and Educational Trajectories”. The main issues to discuss were determining the role of education and coaching in building IT potential for the economy; providing a “new wave” of staff for the IT sector of economy; demanded competencies on the labor market, relevant educational programs and tracks that meet the modern business demands; alternatives to conventional universities; digital departments as an opportunity to develop digital skills for students` personal and professional growth.
