Moscow Poly Became Co-founder of the International Association of Universities BRICS +
The establishment of the society was announced at the X Annual International Conference on Export of Higher Education, which was conducted in St. Petersburg. Among major tasks of the Association there were named exchange of experience on the Key Issues of the sphere of Higher Education, modernizing of educational programs, as well as implementation of joint research projects, and the work on upgrading competitiveness and the quality of educational services.
Apart from the Russian universities, educational institutions of Brazil, China, Argentina, South Africa, Ethiopia and India joined the Association. The parties-participants claimed about the need in establishing such an association as well as pursuing the goal of supporting cultural dialogue and strengthening of mutual understanding. According to Vice-President for International Affairs of Moscow Poly Yulia Davydova, the University is ready for international cooperation on all the designated trends. The University offers wide opportunities to the students from more than 60 countries. Thus foreign students may acquire knowledge in the Russian and English languages, as well as they may additionally learn the Russian language.
