Moscow Poly at Arkhipelag 2121

Velikiy Novgorod hosted “Arkhipelag 2121”, the educational workshop for individual participants, start-ups, regions and universities, who develop projects in the field of modern technologies.

The workshop attracted more than a thousand of start-ups, technological companies and teams, hundreds of large industrial partners, investing funds, state companies and approximately 850 representatives of regions, cities and universities.

The workshop consisted of 3 parts:

   

  • The 1st part (21-27 July) – foresight “A 100-year horizon”, where the organizers formulated the vision of the future as a structure of challenges, forecasts, trends and sceneries of Russian future in 2121.

 

  • During the second part the participants (start-ups and technological teams) received the results of the 1st part and provided the corresponding modifications of their projects in order to meet the created vision of the future.

 

  • During the 3rd part the solutions of the technological teams, renewed with the help of foresight results, were formalized in the development programs of universities, cities and regions.

Ilya Volnov, the Head of Moscow Poly Center for technological support of education, participated as a member of the expert group of visionists and strategists during the 1st part of the workshop. As a result there were created 15 thesis statements on the future, presented by the participants of the 2 following parts.
