Moscow Polytech Announces Results of “Vikhr-2023” Russian National Hackathon in Engineering
The Russian engineering hackathon – “Vikhr-2023” announced the results of the contest.
According to the head of the department for “Engineering Mechanics and Computer Modelling” Yulia Brovkina, the Russian engineering hackathon – “Vikhr” is set to increase the level of technical training of students and acquisition of practical skills to solve non-routine tasks.
Overall, 58 teams from various Russian cities – Moscow, St.Petersburg, Tyumen, Samara, Volgograd, Tula, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and etc., have submitted their applications.
In the course of three days, the teams formed Moscow university and school students with 3-5 people each had to test their engineering wit and creativity.
During the main stage, the students had to find a solution to a real-life issue in automation and robot automation of technological processes, and pass the blitz tournament – solving technological challenges within one hour.
On November 24 (Fri), following the completion of all contest stages an award ceremony took place.
