On May 30, the Donor Day event took place at Moscow Polytech. It was jointly organized by Curators of Moscow Polytech and the Moscow Blood Center named after O.K. Gavrilov.
In total, 52 people took part in the action, and it became possible to collect 24 liters of donor blood. Also present at the site were representatives of the National Health Foundation and the Registry of Bone Marrow Donors of the Russian National Research University named after N.P. Pirogov. As organizers noted, seven people joined the National Registry of Bone Marrow Donors.
By tradition, leaders became known among faculties as per the number of students having donated blood. The first place winner turned out to be the Faculty of Information Technologies. The Faculty of Machine Building took the second place, with the third place taken by the Faculty of Urban Studies and Urban Economy.
