More than 120 people discussed at Moscow Polytech the challenges and prospects of economics

The International scientific and practical conference “Social and Economic Development and Innovations: Challenges and Prospects” was held at Moscow Polytech. Almost 70 participants, including the representatives of foreign countries, presented the reports, dedicated to various aspects of economics.

The reports of the participants from such countries as Belarus, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Bulgaria, Armenia, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan were heard and led to a lively discussion. The number of foreign participants exceeded 20 per cent.

At the conference the specialists discussed achievements in the sphere of the development prospects of the world and national economy; shared the experience, looked for interdisciplinary fields of research. In particular, the reports were heard about the energy efficiency, agrarian economics, development of human capital, demography economics and so on.

Among the speakers, there were Igor Bashmakov, Nobel Peace Prize winner in the UN Panel on Climate Change, Director of the Energy Efficiency Center XXI Century; Evgeniya Serova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of Higher School of Economics; Elena Vashalomidze, Director of the Scientific Personnel Training Center "VNII Truda" of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection; Galina Sorokina, Director of the Institute of Economics and Finance of State University of Management; Feisal Javaid, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of Faculty of International Relations of Federal University of Urdu, Islamabad/Karachi; Nazir Magsi, the expert of Digital Transformation of companies having more than 20-years expertize of the sphere of IT, representing the Republic of Pakistsan. 

In the framework of the conference there worked five scientific sections, at which students could submit the results of their research. Upon the results of the conference and the competition of scientific reports and presentations, a collection of scientific articles will be published
