Moscow Polytech International Students Explore Russia at National Exhibition
Students fr om the preparatory department have visited the large-scale exhibition "Journey Across Russia" at the National Center "Russia." The exhibition, spanning over 3,000 square meters, presents a unique project that lets visitors explore the country from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. Dozens of interactive displays introduce guests to the achievements, culture, science, and nature of all federal districts of our country.
During the tour, the students virtually explored the Far East, Siberia, the Urals, and the Volga region, learning about natural resources, advanced technologies, cultural traditions, and innovative projects from various regions. Particular interest was drawn to objects symbolizing the country's engineering and scientific progress—icebreakers, the Crimean Bridge, smart cities, and future digital centers.
The visit served not only as a memorable cultural experience but also as an important step in the foreign students' adaptation to life and studies in Russia. The exhibition helped them gain a deeper understanding of the geography, history, scientific achievements, and cultural diversity of the country wh ere they now live and study.
Such events help broaden horizons, foster intercultural dialogue, and increase motivation for learning the Russian language.
"The tour became an important incentive for further studies. After visiting the exhibition, the students showed even greater interest in learning about Russia, its culture, and language. Such experiences enhance cognitive motivation and help them perceive education not just as an academic process, but as a personal discovery of a new country," noted Roman Loza, Head of the Preparatory Department.
