International Scientific Conference “Nenashev`s Readings”
The department of Journalism and mass communicationin the name of Michail F. Nenashev of Moscow Polytechnic University, FAMPC and the Union of Journalists of Russia invite you to take part in the international scientific conference “Nenashev`s readings” in honor of professor MichailFedorovichNenashev.
Michail F. Nenashev was a Soviet and Russian politician, journalist, publicist, editor, historian and an educator. During the Soviet period was the chief editor of a political newspaper “Sovetskaya Rossiya”, the head of the USSR State Committee for publishing houses, printing and the Book Trade, the USSR State Committee for Television and Radio, the USSR State Committee for Press and a publishing house “Russkaya Kniga”. He dedicated the last 15 years to the system of higher education: he established the department of journalism and mass communication in the Moscow State Press University in 2005 and governed in for 15 years. In all these years more than 500 journalists have graduated from the department and many of them have been working in the leading Russian media.
The following questions are expected to be discussed:
· Nenashev`s pioneering role in the establishment of information space in Russia;
· Modern media in the era of change (1980-2010)
· Russian newspapers: traditions and innovations ;
· Russian magazines: from traditions to multimedia formats
· Media language and style;
· The publishing in the information society and etc.
Public Committee will meet during the conference to perpetuate the memory of M.F. Nenashev.
The conference takes place December 17-18, 2020 in Moscow Polytechnic University. The conference begins at 11 a.m. The registration opens at 10 a.m.
The conference will be followed by the publication of academic works with index assignation of UDC, LLC and ISBN
