The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated on 11 February every year globally in different ways, big and small.
Over the past decades, the global community has made a lot of effort in inspiring and engaging women and girls in science. Today we celebrate Women and Girls in Science Day recognizing their role not only as beneficiaries, but also as agents of change.
Both girls and boys are equally able to pursue scientific career and are genuinely passionate about it, full of ideas and are ready to work for the sake of the global progress.
We are responsible for providing them with an access to equal high-quality education! That will make a crucial contribution to progress across all the goals and targets.
