“Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home -- so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. [...] Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere. Without concerted citizen action to uphold them close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world.” - Eleanor Roosevelt
Every year United Nations celebrate the most important day for international community – the Human Rights Day. This day reminds us about the importance of mutual respect, friendship and love.
This significant event is a perfect opportunity to educate world`s population on the questions of equality, freedom and our rights. Moreover, every year the humanity celebrates its achievements and accomplished tasks in the field of human rights protection.
For these and many other reasons we should remember the achievements of our predecessors, make them count nowadays and pass their importance to further generations.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation it`s even more important to protect our rights and stand tall despite all the difficulties and threats to our health and freedom.
Stay safe!
