Final Round of "People of Future" Project Brings Together Podolsk Schoolchildren at Moscow Polytech
The final stage of the large-scale educational project "People of the Future," initiated by JSC ZiO-Podolsk, was held at the Moscow Polytechnic University—the Karakuri championship. Teams made up of 10th- and 11th-grade students from five Podolsk schools competed in the final round. The winners received awards and certificates for admission to Moscow Polytech’s engineering programs under a targeted contract with JSC ZiO-Podolsk.
The participants assembled a device based on the Karakuri concept—a mechanism based on precise engineering calculations and physical principles, without the use of electronics. Their work was presented to an expert jury consisting of specialists from ZiO-Podolsk's design and production divisions.
It was no coincidence that Moscow Polytech served as the strategic venue for the event. ZiO-Podolsk and the university have a long-standing partnership. The collaboration includes joint educational programs and internships for students.
