The head of Moscow Poly Center for Further Education Denis Voronin took part in Moscow International Education Salon. He acted as a speaker at the round table in “We choose or Get Chosen: Forming Product Approach in Higher Education”
Among the other participants of the round table were the vice-president for master programs development at Ural Federal University Natalia Andreichenko, production crew head in “Higher Education” and “Netology” Natalia Medvedeva, representatives of the “Higher school of Management” under St.Petersburg State University and the “Virtual School” educational platform at SberUniversity. The discussion was hosted by the expert in education Alexander Molchanov.
The discussion was mainly devoted to the issues of product approach in education, such as what an educational product is, who the university main clients are, what the product in education is, how to make an educational program a demanded product and so on.
Denis Voronin presented Moscow Poly working system in “Further Professional training”. He introduced those present to the scheme that the University uses to develop educational programs in the sphere of further professional training.
“The result of working according to this algorithm is the educational product. We start with the research studies – find out what companies need exactly. Based on their demands a certain matrix of competencies is formed, the competencies that include professional, soft, creative and digital skills. During the course making there is a constant work that is done in cooperation with the employer who participates both in program development and expertise. All that is needed is the programs to relevant and the students demanded”, – Denis Voronin noted.
He also shared the experience of developing and implementing the “Project Activity Organization at University” course of further professional training having noted that the first group has successfully completed their education and that the start of studies for the next academic groups is scheduled for the late April.
