From September, 28 to October 2, 2020, Moscow Poly (Centre for Technological Support of Education), with the support of Gorky Park, is holding the Science-Art-2020 autumn school.
Science-Art is a school where science, high technology and contemporary art are combined.
The best works performed by students will be presented at the exhibition "Man as a Measure: Natural and Digital" in Gorky Park.
As part of the training, schoolchildren will be asked to perform works with a reference to the well-known dictum of antiquity "Man is the measure of all things", transferred to the modern context of digital reality.
The program of the event includes lectures and master classes in the following areas: Science-Art, modern technological art, digital manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, as well as project activities.
The Science-Art Autumn School will be held in a hybrid format.
Lectures, master classes and a part of the project activities will be held online. The second part of the project activity will be offered to students to perform in the laboratories of the Centre for Technological Support of Education of Moscow Poly using the material and information resources of this Centre and with the support of specialists from Moscow Poly.
