Application Period for Moscow Government Nominal Scholarships Announced Open
Every year Moscow Government awards 2,000 scholarships to Moscow students: 1,000 first-years students, 500 second-year students, 300 third-year students and 200 fourth-year students.
NSMG status provides financial incentives, as well as opportunities for:
— participation in city events and projects;
— self-development and self-realization;
— participation in meetings with the heads of city structures;
— proving yourself as an organizer;
— making new acquaintances and communication with like-minded people.
Nominal scholarships by the Moscow Government are awarded to state-funded students in accordance with a number of criteria.
The 1-year candidates have to:

Be a recipient of a medal “For Special Achievements in Education” established by the Government of Moscow.

Study in the field referred to the most important in terms of training field areas for urban economy.
Second-, third- and fourth-year students have to:

Provide the academic transcript containing “excellent” and “good” marks only;

Participate in socially significant events held in Moscow during the previous academic year;
-
Have no administrative penalties for social norms, rules of behavior, or conviction
The amount of scholarship is 6,500 rubles.
The nominal scholarships are awarded to students three times during the term in equal parts: before 15 January, 15 April and 15 July. The payment of the second and third parts is only possible under the following conditions:

student`s systematic participation in socially significant events held in Moscow during the previous quarter of the current academic year;

provision of an academic transcript containing “excellent” and “good” results only as of the last examination session;
-
absence of violation by the student of social norms, rules of conduct, conviction of a disciplinary responsibility.
