Advanced Engineering School for Electric Transport: 44 Master Students Taking Their First Session
December is a traditional period for reflecting on the past and building plans for the future. In the run-up to the New Year, the director of the Advanced Engineering School for Electric Transport (AES) under Moscow Poly Pablo Iturralde shares what the has team achieved in the departing year, their plans for the future, and wishes everybody a happy New Year!
New Faculty
In 2022, a new faculty – Advanced Engineering School for Electric Transport – was established in Moscow Poly. The intake was held for 3 master programs – “Automotive Mechatronics”, “Engineering Design”, “Racing Engineering”. In 2022, despite all the difficulties, 44 master students have already started their education in project format with support of such partners as AVTOTOR, MERKATOR, KAMAZ and DK Racing.
Our Achievements
We have managed not only to launch educational programs in new and unique field areas but also achieve impressive results. Moscow Poly engineering racing team has taken part in the ‘Russian Endurance Chellange’ with Marussia GT car and also provided technical support to the G-Drive Racing team throughout the competition, as a result – two victories in “Absolute”, as well as three victories in nominations for CN- and GR PTO-class sport prototypes
Goals for 2023
Next year, we`re planning to promote and develop transport engineering and Russian car manufacturing. The intake for master programs will be held for 5 master programs. There is also a huge work to be done within current projects and new elaborations.
