The number of students wishing to join Moscow Polytechnic as first-year students increases on an annual basis. In order to accommodate all non-resident students immediately following admission, the university administration has decided to open an additional dormitory in the Mikhalkovskaya 7 building.
The decision to renovate the Mikhalkovskaya building has prompted the relocation of academic activities to the building at 1 Dubrovskaya St., 16A, where renovation works are currently underway to ensure that students are able to study in modern and comfortable premises. The museum is to be moved to the building on Pryanishnikova St., 2A.
Previous online reports suggesting that the university building had been transferred to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation were found to be inaccurate. It is crucial to note that the building in question belongs to the Moscow Polytechnic University and that any rumours regarding its transfer to the Ministry of Culture or any other organisation are unfounded.
