“Volunteers of the Victory” Movement
Russian national “Volunteers of the Victory” movement welcomes students to participate in events commemorated to the Victory Day that are to be held in Moscow.
“Volunteers of the Victory” is one of the biggest volunteering organizations in Russia that is engaged in preserving historical memory, promoting civil patriotic upbringing and learning Russian history through various modern formats. The idea of preserving national history unites more than 400 000 people from 85 subjects of the Russian Federation and 52 countries around the world.
The Movement has been supporting such events commemorated to the Victory Day as the Parade on the Red Square and the “Bessmertnyy Polk” folk procession since 2015.
This year, the organizing committee allows for the classic in-person format of the events that will be held on territory of Moscow.
This way, the Movement together with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and “Rospatriotcentre” supported by Moscow Public Communications Committee will provide volunteering personnel for the Victory Parade and the “Bessmertnyy Polk” folk procession on the Red Square, the event that will be joined by 3.5 thousand of the best volunteers from the whole country.
