The Russian national mini-football championship finals have taken place in Nizhny Novgorod region among university teams. In the period between 11 and 17 May, 10 teams competed with each other in the supreme women division for victory. Moscow Poly played against Orlov State University. Both teams have reached the finals having lost not a single time in the course of the tournament.
In the beginning of the match game, the opponents used an opportunity after our ladies have made a slipup and got the upper hand. After the goal scored to our gates, Moscow Poly team tried to attack the opponents` gates but the luck was on the opponents` side. Moscow Poly has taken the second place.
Yana Shabalina, the team captain was chosen the best team player, whereas Irina Denischits (Moscow Poly) was deemed the best player of the whole tournament.
Russian Mini-football Association president, Emil Aliev; association honorary president, Semyon Andreev, “Russian Youth” NGO-government fitness and sport alliance president Alan Abaev and others participated in the award ceremony.
