Temperature Matters – World Refrigeration Day at Moscow Polytech

Moscow Polytech is going to discuss the influence of cryogenic equipment, conditioning and heat pumps on certain aspects of quality of micro-climate on World Refrigeration Day. The date (June 26) is not accidental – it`s on this day that a famous scientist who created an absolute temperature scale, lord Kelvin, was born.

The initiative to celebrate the holiday belongs to a specialist of the industry Steven Gill. Together with like-minded people, he managed to united efforts of industry-specific unions and non-profit organizations fr om all over the world.

The event mainly aimed at strengthening relations with industrial partners promotion of the field of professional training 16.03.03 (Refrigeration, Cryogenic Equipment and Life-Supporting Systems).

The meeting will be held on June 26 at Moscow Polytech wh ere the vice-president for academic affairs Gyuzel Sharipzyanova, head of department of low temperatures technology n.a. P.L. Kapitsa Dmitry Nekrasov, head of association Rossoyuzkholodprom Yury Dubrovin, executive partner of DANTEX GROUP Alexander Mitin, and representative of refrigeration community of India Milind Atrey will participate.

As a reminder, specialists in refrigeration, cryogenic and clime equipment are trained at Moscow Polytech department of “Low Temperatures Technology” named after P.L. Kapitsa. The head was established in 1944 per initiative of the USSR physicist, laureate of Nobel Prize Petr Kapitsa.
