A new season of “KARDO” award has been launched, that became a part of the “Russia – Country for Opportunities” presidential platform. The project aims at supporting talents in the sphere of street culture and sports, as well as developing social lifts for the youth. Moscow Poly students can also participate in the project.
“Street culture unites over 10 million Russians. To understand how many talented athletes, culture figures and not only – this number is equal to the population of certain countries! The “KARDO” contest-award has become a venue for interaction with youth engaged in the sphere of street sports, culture and creativity. Adding the project to the “Russia – Country for Opportunities” platform will help by means of shared efforts to create opportunities for self-realization for the creative citizens of the country and show that their efforts are duly appreciated”, – noted the first deputy director general of the “Russia – Country for Opportunities” Alexei Agafonov.
This season the project will be divided into three stages:
February-May – registration and online contest
May-July – project contest, making creative video content, offline qualifications and educational work.
August-November – grand finale that will take place in the period between 17 to 20 August in the Southern Russia and after-contest support the laureates and prize-winners.
Each of the three contest stages will have 4 fields: project activity, award, festival and video contest. Anyone associating themselves with street culture and sports in the following areas will be able to participated in the contest: BMX, SCOOT, HIP-HOP, PARKOUR, TRICKING, BREAKING, WORKOUT, GRAFFITI, SKATEBOARDING, DJ.
