Ivan Fyodorov museum of printing history and book publishing is launching Maria Krechetova`s personal exhibition called “Prictorial Art, Graphics” on January 30.
Maria A. Krechetove is a graduate of Moscow State University of Printing Arts, a member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists since 2003, member of Moscow Artist Union since 2011. Since 2010, Maria has been working at the home university as an assistant professor at the departments of “Academic Drawing and Pictorial Art” and “Artistic-Technological Design of Printed Products”. Since 2009, Maria has been a permanent lecturer at the center for pre-university training under “Poligraph” school. Maria Krechetova is also a participant of many scientific conference, exhibitions and is an international contests laureate.
Apart from teaching Maria is working as painters, graphic, illustrator, designer in various techniques.
The exhibition displays picturesque sketches – sceneries and still-life paintings, portaits, as well as graphics – etching, lithographies, monotyping, as well as book illustrations and digital paintings. The big amount of works were created during her teaching at the University as a demonstration to the students studying plastic, color and composition basics.
The opening ceremony will take place on January 30 at 16:00 at Ivan Fyodorov Museum of Printing History and Book Publishing.
