Moscow Poly competition in the memory of V.A. Favorsky

The submission period for the competition “V.A. Favorsky – the first graphic artist of Moscow school” starts on March, 25.

The competition is held in the nomination “Black-and-white (monochrome) illustration of a literary work”.

The participants must choose one or several Russian or foreign literary works that were illustrated by V.A. Favorsky himself:

—   W. Shakespeare. Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark;

—   R. Burns. Poetry in translation of S. Marshak;

—   The Tail of Igor`s Campaign;

—   A.S. Pushkin. Boris Godunov;

—   A.S. Pushkin. Little tradegies;

—   N.P. Konchalovskaya. Our ancient capital.

Don`t forget to note the title of the work in your application!

In order to participate in the competition, you need to submit no more than 3 works in the JPG format (no lower than 300 dpi, the width of the image must be from 2500 to 4000 pixels) via e-mail dovuz@mospolytech.ru from 25 March to 25 April.

Note the “Competition” in the subject and state the following information:

1) Full name;

2) Date of birth;

3) City of living:

4) Educational institution;

5) Contact information: phone number, e-mail address, social network profiles;

6) List of submitted works with the titles.

The names of three winners and awardees in every nomination will be uploaded on the official University website after the finals of the competition.

All works of winners and participants will be exhibited after the competition.
