About the Olympiad
The Olympiad is held in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation No. 1125 dated August 27, 2020 "On Approval of the List of School Olympiads and their levels for the 2020/21 academic year" and No. 267 dated 04.04.2014 "On Approval of the Procedure for Holding School Olympiads".
It takes place in two stages:
- the first one is a selection (November 1, 2020-February 15, 2021, acceptance of works ends on February 17, 2021);
- the second (from March 19 to 24, 2021) – for the participants who have passed the qualifying stage.
For participation you have to do the following:
- register;
- complete a task (one, two, three, or all four profiles);
- upload your work to the website of Moscow Polytechnic University (login and password will be sent to your e-mail after registration).

What do winning and participation in the Olympiad mean?
Winners and prize-winners of the specialization "Drawing" will be able to enter the specialty "Graphics" or the specialization "Design "(Graphic Design of Multimedia) without entrance tests.
Participants of the final stage are added 3 points to their individual achievements upon admission to the specialty "Graphics".
Winners and prize-winners of the specialization "Graphic Design" will be able to enter the field "Design"(Graphic design of multimedia) without entrance tests.
Participants of the final stage are added 3 points to their individual achievements upon admission to the specialty "Graphics".
- In accordance with Appendix 2.5 of the Admission Rules
Diplomas of winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad of school students are taken into account when entering other universities in Russia in accordance with their admission rules.
Specializations "Painting", "Illustration", for those entering the specialty "Graphics":
winners get 10 points;
prize-winners get 7 points (for second place);
prize-winners get 5 points (for third place);
participants get 3 points.
