The Moscow Poly student projects were presented at the exhibition Education and Career

From October 20 to 27 the 46th Moscow international exhibition “Education and Career” was held at the Gostinyi Dvor. The Moscow Poly presented there a boat on solar batteries and a design model of LADA 2030.

The exhibition “Education and Career” is a modern communicative space where university representatives can freely communicate with schoolchildren and applicants, tell them about the preparatory programs and admission conditions. According to Deputy Head of the Center for Work with Applicants Sergey Makarenko, it is at exhibitions that schoolchildren get most of information about universities and ask their questions. The most often asked question is what higher education institutions are included in the Moscow Poly? (The answer is MAMI, MSUEE, MSOU, MSPMU, MSI, MSUPA n.a. Fedorov).

At the exhibition the Moscow Poly presented the graduation project of the transport faculty student “LADA 2030”, developed with participation of the “AVTOVAZ” employees in the framework of project activity. This prototype is a fantasy about what will a city electric SUV look like in 2030. According to the student’s concept, the LADA of the future will be electricity-driven and, besides, there will appear a possibility to regulate transparency of the glasses.

Another project of the Moscow Poly was a boat on solar batteries, which had participated in the competitions “The Solar Regatta” in Kaliningrad. “The Solar Regatta” is an international boat racing where the boats move by means of the solar energy. The students develop and design the boats on their own, then display possibilities of the vessels on solar batteries. The Moscow Poly has been participating in the competition  since the summer of 2015.
