Vladimir Miklushevskiy inspected premises of the Moscow Poly at the Pavel Korchagin St

Acting Rector of the Moscow Poly Vladimir Miklushevskiy met with the management of the Higher School of Management and Law and of the faculty of basic competences, and, as well, evaluated the educational and production facilities of laboratories in the building at the Pavel Korchagin Street.

Vladimir Miklushevskiy had a meeting with Dean of the faculty of technological entrepreneurship Ivan Yurin, Dean of the faculty of law Sergey Zaslavskiy, Dean of the faculty of economics and management Emma Sharian, representatives of administration and teachers of the faculties. At the meeting the prospects for development of educational programs were discussed, the number of which at the faculties of the Higher School of Management and Law currently exceeds forty. According to Acting Rector, the programs should be more flexible and respond to the present demand of the labor market. In particular, he proposed to increase the number of programs at the Master Course. Dean of the faculty of the basic competences Yuriy Morgunov emphasized that for the first-year students the studies at the Moscow Poly start exactly from mastering the disciplines of the basic block. Thus, the faculty serves for the students the first step on the way to their educational trajectory.

Acting Rector got acquainted with developments of the research-and-educational center “Technologies Forge”. The recent project of the center is a virtual historical laboratory, which uses technologies of the virtual and augmented reality for training in the national history for all those willing it. Vladimir Miklushevskiy drew attention to the fact that the main problem of all student projects is in entering the free market. Many promising startups become unfeasible outside the university walls. Answering to this, the founder of the “Technologies Forge” Arseniy Uralov told him about the plan to develop student entrepreneurship: an accelerator of student projects will be opened on the basis of the center.

Also, in the framework of the guided tour to the university premises at the Pavel Korchagin Street, Rector inspected the laboratories of optics, criminalistics, engineering graphics and modelling, library hall, and other facilities.
