The Moscow Poly at the exhibition Interplastika-2018

From January 23 to 26 the 21st international specialized exhibition of plastics and rubbers “Interplastika was held at the Central Exhibition Complex, where the Moscow Poly presented student projects.

At the exhibition “Interplastika” the key representatives of the Russian polymer industry gather, and its vast business program brings together recognized experts and beginner specialists to exchange ideas and search for new approaches to working with polymers, secondary processing of raw materials and innovative additive technologies. For the Moscow Poly students, who have displayed their works at the exhibition, it is a chance to get acquainted with the industry leaders and, as well, to get advice from experts.

The Moscow Poly presented the project of a city electric motorcycle by a graduate of Department “Design” of the transport faculty Julia Romanova – “Lexus Kensaki”. Innovative composite materials and smart technologies have been used in the design of the motorcycle. Another layout is a self-driven tractor “NVIDIA” with electric engine. This is a graduation project as well, its author is a graduate of the transport faculty Denis Pilikhin. It is implied that the body parts will be manufactured of thermo plastics (well suited for further processing) and elastomers. Besides, the Moscow Poly exhibited also a 3D printer, a layout “A micro turbine installation for energy provision for a restaurant-wagon of the Russian Railways” (Department “Energy installations for transport and small-size power generation”), and a racing car “Iguana Generation 10 turbo 1”.


“Interplastika” is positioned as the main exhibition in Russia for the leading plastics and rubbers producers. Organizers of the exhibition are “Messe Dusseldorf GmbH” and “Messe Dusseldorf Moscow” with the assistance and support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The largest number of exhibitors of “Interplastika” traditionally represent Russia, Germany and Italy, and, as well, Austria, France, Portugal, China and Taiwan.
