Vladimir Miklushevskiy had a meeting with Chairman of the Trade Union organization

January 31 Acting Rector of the Moscow Poly Vladimir Miklushevskiy discussed issues of salary increase, payments of bonuses, improvement of living conditions in the university hostels and development of the student volunteer movement with the trade union organization chairman Nikolay Nitkin.

Vladimir Miklushevskiy mentioned that he is interested in working jointly with trade unions. “For me the trade union organization is a body, providing an additional communication channel to the employees and students”, said Acting Rector. – During many decades the trade unions proved their being built in the system and their efficiency. I am interested in a situation when the trade union organization was my partner, because we both work for the same goal: social well-being of the students and employees of the university”.

Acting Rector also emphasized the importance of the Moscow Poly Volunteer Center. According to him, the Volunteer Center brings people together rand gives them an opportunity to practice teamwork – students from different faculties unite, they develop common interests and goals. Social volunteer movement is an environment, creating preconditions for development of leadership: today’s volunteers can in the future become leaders of their own social or technological projects.
