Vladimir Miklushevskiy visited the Institute of Publishing and Journalism

January 24 Acting Rector of the Moscow Poly visited the Institute of Publishing and Journalism (IPJ) of the Higher School of Printing and Media Industry. Vladimir Miklushevskiy met with Director of the Institute Aleksey Stoliarov and Heads of Departments, and, as well, visited the Center for Printing Arts “Ivan Fedorov Printing Yard”.

At the meeting the situation in one of the oldest institutes in the structure of the Moscow Poly was discussed, and its prospects. The key topics were strengthening of relations with the industry representatives and development of joint educational programs, cooperation with Moscow authorities, digitalization of education and its actualization in accordance with world trends. Head of Department “Journalism and Mass Communications” Mikhail Fedorovich Nenashev – the legend of Russian journalism, the winner of the RF Government award for the personal contribution to the development of mass information media – shared his vision of the further IPJ development.

Summing up the meeting, Vladimir Miklushevskiy emphasized that the main feature of the institute is the quality of education and research work. After the official part Acting Rector visited the Center for Printing Arts “Ivan Fedorov Printing Yard”, where the exhibition “The Insight Light” is being prepared. It will display the works of the prominent graphic artist, Associate Professor of Department of Illustration and Engraving Sergey Krestovskiy and a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Vladimir Kolesnikov. The exposition will be open for visitors from January 25 and will be on until February 16.
