November 22 the Moscow Poly joined the Code of Bona Fide Practices, describing principles and mechanisms of ethic activity (work) in the Internet.

The provisions of the Code are aimed at creating a safe digital environment. They were worded back in November 2016 and can be applied by signatories on the territory of the Russian Federation as a guidance in business conduct and best practices. Subscribing organizations declare their readiness to use the following approaches when working online:

  • comply with the requirements of the Russian legislation, provisions of international agreements of the Russian Federation and recommendations of the authorized bodies of the state power;
  • inform the users and open the content of legal relationships when rendering services in the Internet;
  • undertake activities to form a culture of safe conduct on the Web.

Among organizations that have already signed the Code, there are “the big four” of mobile operators, the Association of the Russian Banks. The events, in the framework of which new participants join the Code, are being consistently arranged by the Roscomnadzor in various regions of Russia.
